The LifePoint School of Ministry exists to develop Spirit-filled leaders through biblical instruction, practical ministry experience, theology, and intentional discipleship, equipping them to serve the Church and reach the world in a life-giving, Spirit-led environment.

ACADEMIC PREPERATION
Ministers will deepen their understanding of Scripture, theology, and ministry leadership through rigorous biblical instruction and theological training.
An effective minister will demonstrate the ability to interpret the Bible accurately, articulate core doctrines, and integrate biblical truth across various areas of ministry.
An effective minister will be a lifelong learner, equipped to answer critical questions of the faith and contribute meaningfully to the Church and community.

PROFESSIONALISM
A minister must embody integrity, humility, and excellence in all areas of life and leadership.
An effective minister will lead by example—honoring spiritual authority, stewarding responsibilities faithfully, and demonstrating high ethical and moral standards.
A minister’s conduct, communication, and leadership should reflect the character of Christ and the values of the Kingdom.

A minister will pursue holistic health—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically—to sustain long-term effectiveness in life and ministry.

What to Expect
Courses are held in person once a week on Mondays and run for six weeks. Each class session is three hours long, meeting the minimum instructional hour requirement set by the Assemblies of God. During each course, students will complete light reading assignments, a midterm, and a final exam. Exams may take the form of traditional tests (e.g., multiple choice, short answer), written responses, essays, or practical projects, at the discretion of the professor.
All course levels meet the minimum educational requirements for Certified, Licensed, and Ordained credentials with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, respectively.
